April 8, 2008 The Protection Township Library Board was offered several photo’s [if you have seen the photo's hanging in the Bank of Protection, they will be along this line] to be added to the walls in the Community room of the library building. These were offered by the ‘Mothers Advancement Club’ and will be old photo’s of Protection. If you have any photo’s that you think would be neat to feature in our Community room please contact, Mary Ellen Riner at 622-4517. The Mother’s Club would like donations for this project along with photos and ideas. All must be approved by the ‘Library Board’ and ‘Mother’s Advancement Club’. The Protection Library Board approved the purchase of Finger-jointed Pine Picture Rail Molding that hooks can be attached to and photo hung on in the community room, a very nice addition to this room. All suggestions and idea’s from the community can be shared with the library at 620-622-4886. Do drop by and view the on going project, a announcement will appear in the Protection Post upon completion of this project.
