the circle of water will be the tin shed belonging to
Lane Myers Company, the  former Houson-Doughty
Lumber Company 1917-1956>the Protection Township
Library sits now; the white roof top was the old main
office of the lumber yard, later a art gallery then a beauty
shop; next was the brick building that lastly belonged to
Gerald Holler which now houses Johny Gean storage
building; next was hotel which burned down; then a furniture
store; grocery store, doctor/denitst office, bank of Protection
and on.
